Our Tickled Trout Bar/Bistro offers a varied menu in comfortable, welcoming surroundings.  Open 5 nights per week between May and October, and dependent on demand, at peak times outside the season. The family run Bistro provides a relaxing atmosphere for dinner or drinks.  Children especially are catered for with ‘kid-sized’ portions of their favourite dishes.
The Bistro garden, by a tinkling stream and weeping willows, offers pleasant opportunities on lazy summer evenings to eat and drink and relax ‘al fresco’ while watching the children enjoy themselves.  Bring your pet, too - they are also allowed in the restaurant.
Order from our regular menu of succulent dishes or from today’s ‘Blackboard Specials’, many prepared using Devon grown ingredients.  (Sample menu).  If you prefer to eat at home, why not order a Tickled Trout Takeaway?  We’ll call when ready or deliver to your door.   Light lunches, bar meals, sandwiches, tea and coffee are available on Friday and Saturday ‘arrival’ days from 12 noon, in the restaurant and the garden.
Reservations may be made before arrival at Otterfalls by calling Reception 01404 861634.  The Bistro is also happy to cater for larger parties or special events and celebrations, by prior arrangement.
