Miles of ‘off the lead’ exercise on well-marked trails and footpaths.
One thing’s for sure, your four-legged friend will love Otter Falls as much as you do. Stay in a selection of dog friendly properties and enjoy miles of off-lead walks on our trails.
Over the past 20 years we’ve planted small woodland areas with manageable and mowed pathways especially for off-lead dog walks for well-behaved dogs, totally away from the traffic, noise and pollution of urban life. So both you and your dog can breathe deep and walk, run and play to your heart’s content. In fact, if you take the trail all the way to the River Otter and back then before you know it, you’ll have covered nearly two miles!
In addition to the paths on our own 40 acre estate there are many connecting footpaths and bridle paths including a walk with wonderful views on Luppitt Common which as “Commoners” we are also free to use.
We’re excited to introduce our brand-new dog play and agility area at Otter Falls – the perfect spot for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs, burn off energy and have some fun. Fully enclosed with secure 6ft fencing and a gated entrance, it’s a safe and private space designed with dogs (and their owners) in mind.
Inside, your pooch can enjoy ramps, hoops, zig-zag runs, tyres and more – whether they’re a seasoned agility pro or just fancy a playful run around. There are even benches for humans to sit back and watch the fun, along with a water bowl and poop bin provided for convenience.
To make sure every dog gets the space to themselves, the agility park is bookable at reception for 45-minute private slots. Best of all, it’s completely free to use and you can book as many or as few sessions as you like during your stay.
Otter Falls has always been a dog-friendly destination, and now we’re offering even more for our four-legged guests. So, when you next visit, why not treat your pooch to their very own adventure playground?
Not everyone visiting Otter Falls is a dog owner so we ask you to keep your best friend on its lead around the lakes and especially respect our guests who are fishing.
