Our fishing rules

We pride ourselves on the clarity of our water, the welfare and sustainability of Otter Falls fish and the wildlife that shares our beautiful estate. That’s why we only allow our guests to fish in our lakes and we keep 250m of the River Otter private for your use.

Fishing is free for holiday guests but a rod licence is required by all persons over 12 years if they fish our lakes or river which can be obtained from any Post Office.

• Up to 2 rods per ticket
• Barbless hooks
• Swim feeders and method feeders
• Pellets (on hooks only)
• If you would like to fish the River Otter there are some beautiful Brown Trout to be caught. It’s only a short walk from your holiday home and a complete retreat from the world.
