A stunning location, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with so much to see and do all makes Otter Falls the perfect place to enjoy summer holidays, spring, autumn and winter breaks.
Whether you’re a family, couple or group, make yourself at home in our traditional stone holiday cottages, modern pine lodges or even experience glamping too! You’re welcome all year round and there’s an Otter Falls break for everyone.
One thing’s for sure, when you’re here fishing on our lakes, watching your dog run through our woodland trails or strolling along the banks of the River Otter, you may find it hard to imagine that your total escape from the outside world is so much closer than you think.
At Otter Falls you don’t have to stray too far from your cottage or lodge to find something fun to do, whatever the weather. Enjoy the outdoors on at our all-weather tennis courts, alternatively have a game of pool or table tennis. Or just relax in our sauna after a swim in our indoor pool. And once you’ve worked up an appetite why not treat yourself to lunch in our bistro?
Absolutely amazing place. We stayed in falls lodge 4 beautiful location. The views from this lodge and the sound of the little waterfall were amazing.
We stayed Mon-Fri for my Dads 60th and on the Monday of arriving we were escorted to the lodge which I thought was a lovely little touch. When we got there they wished my Dad a Happy Birthday and has left him a bottle of wine too.
All the staff and owners were so lovely, it felt like a home away from home and nothing was too much trouble. My 7yr old nephew went on the bushcraft activities and absolutely loved it, he kept talking about it all day. We booked in the swimming pool which is a fantastic idea to allow families a 1hr slot to themselves. We also ventured over to the tennis courts and used the volleyball and fire pit to toast marshmallows.
The whole holiday was just heaven and we will be rebooking for next year. Thank you so much to the staff and owners who made my Dad’s 60th Birthday week so special and for running such an amazing place.
We stayed in Shire Cottage, two families sharing. Great that there is so much to do onsite for the kids – and no extra charges, which is unusual. Often you go to places and you have to pay £2 for this, £4 for that…. at Otter Falls, you can borrow rackets, balls etc for free. Swimming pool is free. Ok, you pay for fishing, but that is fair enough, and the lakes are well looked after. The staff were very friendly and and helpful. Nice bistro – cool beers and good food in the evenings. Cottage was a bit dated but it was clean and had everything you need, which is the main thing.
